JAPAAre you a collector of Finnish popular music? The Finnish Jazz & Pop Archive keeps mapping the contents of private archives maintained by collectors, musicians, fans, and music lovers. Please contact us if you want details of your collection listed in our database. In 2009, we are especially interested in private pop and rock collections.
We welcome material donations such as annual volumes of music papers (e.g. Ajan sävel, Help!, Intro, Iskelmä, Suosikki and foreign papers such as Melody Maker, New Musical Express and Rolling Stone), broadcast music programmes, posters and books. We are also interested in professional reel tape recorders and other sound equipment that are old but still in good condition.
